I think time capsules are fascinating. I think this old theatre in Islington, NSW, is certainly a time capsule. Built in 1928 for the introduction of the ‘talkies’, the theatre was closed in 1964 but has remained nearly intact.
It’s always there. The reminder. Of just how lucky we are.

Something I had come to believe would never happen.
This city is so very beautiful. There are some parts that still remain damaged, unloved. But most of this city is breathtakingly wonderful. Surely I’m not the only one who sees it this way?
And I hope he never does. Life would be so colourless.
